Mood & Posture

How does greed affect my Posture?

Mood Video

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz?
My friends all drive Porsches, I must make amends
Worked hard all my lifetime, no help from my friends
So Lord, won’t you buy me a Mercedes Benz?

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a color TV?
Dialing For Dollars is trying to find me
I wait for delivery each day until three
So oh Lord, won’t you buy me a color TV?

Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a night on the town?
I’m counting on you, Lord, please don’t let me down
Prove that you love me and buy the next round
Oh Lord, won’t you buy me a night on the town?

Set of Muscles

The below set of muscles help us function and survive through greed but our bodies were not designed to function with the illusion of greed in our bodies:

Superficial Front Arm Lines (Pericardium Meridian)

The Superficial Front Arm Line (SFAL) ooverlies the DFAL (Deep Front Arm Line) in the shoulder, beginning with a broad sweep of attachments, which in this line includes several muscles.
The pectoralis major, which was broad set of attachments from the clavicle down onto the middle ribs, egins this line in the front.
The Latissiumus dorsi (which egins its emryological life as ‘latissiums ventri’, a muscle on the front with the a firm attachment to the anterior surface of the humerous, next to pectoralis, this staking its tenuous claim to being part of the SFAL) sweeps up the from the spinous processes of the lower thooracics, the lumbosacral fascia, the iliac crest, and lower lateral ribs.

Deep Front Arm Lines (Lung Meridian)

Since the arms hang from the upper skeleton in our upright posture, they are not part of the structural ‘column’ as such. Thus we have included the appendicular legs in our discussion of the cardinal and spiral lines, but left the arms for seperate consideration. Given their lines, but left the arms for separate consideration. Given their weight, however, and their multiple links to our activities of daily driving and computer life, the Arm Lines do have a postural function: strain from the elos affects the mid-ack, and shoulder malposition can create create significant drag on the ris, neck, breathing function, and beyond.

Superficial Back Arm Lines (Triple Energizer Meridian)

Since the arms hang from the upper skeleton in our upright posture, they are not part of the structural ‘column’ as such. Thus we have included the appendicular legs in our discussion of the cardinal and spiral lines, but left the arms for seperate consideration. Deep Back Arm Lines (Small Intestines Meridian)

The DBALopens with the rhomboids, whose superficial layers of fascia pass across to the infraspinatus. The DBAL is the entire rotator cuff complex that sanwhiches the scapula, including the subscapularis.

Gait Style

Duck Walk

They tend to walk on the middle of the foot, causing there to be no sway to one side (either the left or the right), therefore creating a lack of oblique movement on the opposite side.

The weight of the person is distributed through the middle of the foot, contracting the Plantar area of the foot to such an extent that the toe area is retracting, causing the toes to become hammer-like in appearance. This causes the heel area to compress, so that the bone of Calcaneus and Tibia are in close proximity to each other, which eventually causes Achilles’ injuries.

General Associated Temperament: Melancholy

Strengths of the Melancholy:
Usually Multi-gifted (particularly in the arts, but not necessarily), analytical, aesthetic, self-sacrificing, industrious, self-disciplined.

Weaknesses of the Melancholy:
Moody, self-centered, persecution-prone, revengeful, touchy, theoretical, unsociable, critical, negative, prone to depression.

Common Illness

Bright’s Disease, Bunion, Bursitis, Calluses, Corns, Cholesterol, Colds, Colitis, Deafness, Dry Skin, Edema, Flatulence, Gas pain, Hernia, Hiatus Hernia, Hiccoughs, Indigestion, Leukemia, Menstrual Cramps, Nausea, Parkinson’s Disease, Scoliosis, Sprain, Strain, Spur on Heel, Toothache, Varicose Veins.

Solutions

These solutions are immediate relief for any mood.

The only way out is through exchanging false claims with true claims. Praise God He gave us these directions in Galatians and Colossians explain the benefits of the book of Philippians’  list of things to think on.

Galatians 2:17-21

17 But if while seeking to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also have been found to be sinners, then is Christ an agent of sin? May it never be! 18 For if I build up again these things which I destroyed, I show myself to be a transgressor. 19 For through the law I died to the law, in order that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ, 20 and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me, and that life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not declare invalid the grace of God, for if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died to no purpose.

Galatians 2:17-21

You only have access to these emotions through Jesus: Philippians 4:8

Phillipians 4:4-23

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice. 5 Let your gentleness be made known to all people. The Lord is near. 6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are pleasing, whatever things are commendable, if there is any excellence of character and if anything praiseworthy, think about these things. 9 And the things which you have learned and received and heard about and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last you have renewed your concern for me, for whom also you were thinking, but you had no opportunity to express it. 11 Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 12 I know how both to make do with little and I know how to have an abundance. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to have an abundance and to go without. 13 I am able to do all things by the one who strengthens me. 14 Nevertheless you have done well by sharing* with me in my affliction. 15 Now you also know, Philippians, that at the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone, 16 because even in Thessalonica on more than one occasion you sent for my need. 17 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek for the profit that increases to your account. 18 But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am well supplied because* I received from Epaphroditus what you had sent, a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God. 19 And my God will fulfill your every need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Final Greetings and Benediction 21 Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers with me greet you. 22 All the saints greet you, and especially those of Caesar’s household. 23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

Thank God to What You Have

Psalms 8; Genesis 9-10; Ephesians 5

Emotional – Links between brain and body- I was reading an article on social media the other day and a young woman was imploring Mom’s to take time with their kids and life in general. Of course, I was yelling bravo to my phone.

The world says stay busy but your brain says take your time, give me pathways that can only be established by time and kept by new memories.

By new memories, an example is when you read a book or see a picture and the memory it sparks is tied to a past memory and now a current memory then you know you are continually building new pathways.

The other factor in building a brain is the nervous system the two sides of it are parasympathetic also known as rest and digest and sympathetic known as fight or flight. You may have asked why do we need fight or fight as a part of daily life?

Because if it has waste products that it releases and these toxins are destructive. What purpose do they serve if that is the case? Why do we need this to happen?

The influx of chemicals changes the glucose into a form that allows the brain to make new pathways but then to switch back and couple them with past learned behaviors is one of God’s best gifts to humans. The gift to renew our minds in a way that we can accept the past and bring forth a better set of habits for today. The gift of quality days, make no mistake, no one gets more days by doing anything but we can renew every day we are given.

Ephesians 5: 29
For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.

Walk

20 minute walk. The heat of each step from heal strike to abdomen out through sternum and top of head is your massage away from a therapist. It’s amazing what a 20 minute walk can do. Recite or listen to Philippians 4 while you walk.

Gallon of Water a Day

Yes. This is repeated a lot. Water is free. So I’m thrilled to repeat it as it is the top 2 requirements for us to heal. Muscles require hydration to do the whole ADP ATP exchange. This helps dispose fibers from toxic chemicals restoring posture.

Why A Gallon of Water A Day?
